Hello! I'm Leong Zhi Yan, a Year 2 User Experience student studying at Republic Polytechnic. I chose to study this course as I am passionate about solving design problems faced by different users and coming up with solutions. I love doing design research and user testing as I can get to witness the different reactions and responses by my users, which helps me to understand what I can improve on. My interest in design started when I first watched a television show on interior design. The show was about helping those who needs help with cleaning their homes, and afterwards providing them with a better environment to live in with the help of interior design. This really inspired me to want to help the people in need with my design in the future. Thus, my career aspiration is to work as an interior designer or in the design firm.
